The Bienvenidos Foster Family Agency (BFFA) is currently certified to license 170 foster families and is presently responsible for therapeutic foster care to 300 children. Go here for more information.


Become A Foster Parent

One of life's greatest rewards is making a difference in the life of a needy child.

There are over 750,000 children in foster care. The need for caring foster homes grows each day as children continue to suffer from physical, emotional and sexual abuse and neglect. While you are caring for these children, you are allowing the biological parent(s) to get their lives together so they can be reunified with their children. Open your heart and home to children who are in need and make a difference in their lives.

Foster Parent Requirements:

  • Over 21 years of age
  • Valid California drivers license
  • Vehicle with insurance
  • Space in your home to accommodate at least two children
  • Source of income
  • Attend 30 hours of training plus first aid/CPR

    • You will receive financial support depending on the age of the child. Also, staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
