Mental Health provides therapeutic individual and family counseling by licensed therapists to children and their families. We serve children and young adults, ages 0 to 21-years old, who present a variety of emotional and behavioral difficulties. Well-trained clinicians work collaboratively with children and their families in addressing emotional and behavioral difficulties such as, anxiety, child abuse and trauma, depression, eating disorders, hyperactivity impulse control, reactive attachment, academic performance and adjustment, self-injurious behaviors, and sexual acting out. We specialize in working with children at risk of being removed from their homes/foster homes; children ages birth to five years old requiring early diagnosis and intervention to avoid pre-school failure, placement into foster care, and/or significant disruption of their developmental trajectory; children in post-adoption settings and/or in Kinship care or receiving Wraparound services.
