LOS ANGELES, Feb. 27, 2017-- Hillsides, a Southern California foster care charity, raised $370,000 during its annual gala, themed Las Flores de Hillsides, held on February 25 at The Langham Huntington Pasadena. Some 360 guests enjoyed cuisine, drinks, décor and entertainment with a Latin American flare as they raised money for the 13,000 children, youth and families Hillsides serves. “It was wonderful to see so many of our supporters at our gala, which is our largest fundraiser of the year,” said Hillsides president and chief executive officer Joseph M. Costa.

Hillsides, a foster care charity, held a gala sponsor reception for donors on January 31 at Alma de la Rosa restaurant in Pasadena.  Some 70 guests enjoyed appetizers and drinks at the new restaurant owned by Robert and Deborah Simon, the site of the former AKA Bistro in Old Town Pasadena.

LOS ANGELES, Dec. 20, 2016 -   Actor Robert Patrick of the CBS show “Scorpion” and some 125 fellow riders from the Boozefighters Motorcycle Club Chapter 101 and other local motorcycle clubs took part in a toy run this weekend for Hillsides, a foster care charity.  The riders rode from Canyon Country to Hillsides main campus in Pasadena with a truck load of holiday gifts. Actors Mike Beach and Emilio Rivera from the FX  show “Sons of Anarchy” were also among the riders.
